Lending a helping hand

On Saturday we packed Kate and Indy into the car and headed to Morgan. It was a beautiful day for a leisurely drive and we planned to let Indy out and run on our way home. We stopped in a little town called Croyden where we were sure we would find an open field...there were plenty, but they all contained cows. While driving down the road to find some place for him to run we saw a calf who had gotten himself stuck in the fence. Of course we had to stop.....and of course I had to take pictures....

Poor little guy. He stared freaking out and jumping around as we approached him. He also started mooing and all the other cows started heading toward the gate like they were going to pummel us.

Marc to the rescue! He ended up pushing the cow's head down to set him free.

Everyone headed back out to pasture.
