We're having a baby tomorrow!!

There it is folks...the babe we will meet in the morning... Tomorrow I will be 39 weeks, and will be having a C-section. We are all excited to meet this little one...Kate said today that she will meet her baby brother tomorrow (weird since she ALWAYS says her baby sister!)...we'll see :0) We will definitely keep you posted!

31 years, 31 weeks

Yesterday I turned 31, and today I am 31 weeks pregnant. Only 8 weeks to go since baby J will arrive on September 30!!! WOW! That will be here before we know it!! Other than being fairly hot and very tired, I am feeling well. I have no sense one way or the other about boy or girl, and honestly I do not care either way as long as we have a healthy baby. Kate always calls it her baby sister, so we'll see... It would be nice to be able to use the TONS of girl clothes we have here...if we don't get that chance, we will be seeking boy hand-me-downs :0)

28 weeks, 3 days

OK, yes it's weird that I am headless in this picture, but this is about "the bump", not my face...which I will show in future pictures, I just wasn't feeling it today... Anyway, I have been meaning to do this for a while, and it just never happens, I will try to be better from here on out...this is where it gets good anyway :0)

It's a girl! It's a boy! It's a...baby!

We had our ultrasound today, and I am VERY happy to report a healthy little baby J! Like last time, we will not be finding out what we are having. Also like last time, that information is sealed in an envelope that I am looking at as I type this...doesn't that just drive you crazy?! :0) I'm not even sure why we decided to do that again. I guess just because we did it with Kate, and I know it sounds funny, but it was fun to open the envelope after she was born. I know I have not mentioned this pregnancy much since April, but there really hasn't been much to report. I was tired and sick...normal pregnancy things, and now I am feeling MUCH better! And the really good news is that I am already halfway through this pregnancy, so that's exciting! I may post a picture here or there of my growing belly, but I am not making any promises... Here are a few pictures from today :0)

No, this is not an April Fool's joke :0)...The fourth member of the Joder family (the size of a lemon this week) will arrive sometime the first week of October!!!

Friday the 13th....who would've thought!

Here is the brief version (with pictures) of our Friday the 13th........

Let me start by saying that when this picture had been taken we had already been at the hospital for over 24 hours, we were both exhausted to say the least, we had had several scares about our baby, and I was about to rolled into the OR....we needed a little comic relief!

And while your husband looks cute all duded up for the OR, you look like this...but don't care because the end is finally near.

Here she is weighing in....just a little peanut. She was 21 inches long. Oh if you could have heard her screaming at this point!

Cleaned up a little bit, I was behind a drape so I missed all this but Marc saw it and got the great pics.

She was ready to eat from the get go (see that little tounge!), and I actually fed her as soon as we were back in our room! She took to it like a pro!

Here's Dad giving her first bath. He said she screamed the whole time, but just look at the smile on his face!

Did I mention all the hair?! I never thought I would have the baby with all the hair and a bow in it, in fact I always thought it was silly, but it's so damn cute!

We are so very very blessed! We have a beautiful healthy baby girl, I can't wait for you all to meet her! Love, Sandy, Marc, and Kate

Getting Started

I have been wanting to do this for a long time and I figured that with the baby coming it was the perfect time. I will use this as a place to keep you all posted on what's new with us and to let you see how the baby is growing. Check often....I plan to update at least once a week if not more.

Marc and I are doing well. We are patiently (kind of) waiting for the arrival of Baby J. I still have two days until my due date so I am not freaking out just yet. At work they started a baby pool including the sex of the baby, birthday, weight, and time of birth. It was fun to see what everyone guessed, although there were a few mean guesses like the 20th and 21st. My doctor told me that she won't let me go more than a week over, so unfortunately they lost. I personally think that it will be March 11, and we are hoping that it's not Friday the 13th!

In case you are wondering, this is what I currently look like in all my pregnant glory...I think I have dropped a little. I can't really tell by looking at myself, but we walked around the dog park yesterday and I wasn't huffing and puffing like I have been so I think there's a little more room for my lungs.
