New tet (tent)

Way back in August (or somewhere around there...I can't actually remember when), I bought Kate a kitchen from the KSL classifieds. Well, maybe she was too young or maybe she just never really liked it, but either way it went pretty much untouched since then. There was the occasional playtime with the kitchen, but overall if given the choice, she would rather play in a box...seriously. So then I started thinking, canopy? tent? playhouse? I mean the box was fine, but it was getting pretty trashed and ugly, and I just couldn't look at it anymore! I really got the "itch" about this situation about a week ago and started looking on KSL for something, when I stumbled upon the perfect thing....tent/house!! It's called Rose Petal Cottage, and it's PERFECT! Kate loved it from the start, playing with it in the living room of the family we bought it from! And all the way home she told me about her "new tet!"

This morning she started calling it "my new house". She was so excited when she saw it, she ran right in there and started playing!

Kate especially loves her new sit (sink). The house also included a stove and laundry!

Fun side note...I bought the kitchen for $40, bought the house and accessories for $30, and sold the kitchen today for $30! So the house was free, and Kate (sort of) played with the kitchen for about 6 months for $10! You can't beat that!
