I kind of missed writing an official twelve month update because I wrote a birthday post instead... So, let me catch you up to speed with what Kate's been doing lately. Most exciting: she's walking, but you already knew that! Now that she is officially a biped, Kate has been busier than ever. She literally doesn't stop...it's so tiring...for us, not so much for her. She's back and forth between rooms taking the contents of drawers and cabinets to completely new places throughout the house...then mom and dad get to track them down and bring them back to their correct locations! When she's not doing that, she can "fetch" things that you ask her for, like her shoes or pants, and Marc and I have been having fun handing her something and telling her to bring it to mom (or dad)...we all get a real kick out of that :0)
Kate's vocabulary has expanded to include ut-oh! (usually while dropping something on the floor) and baby. She can also tell you what a cow and a dog "say", and she most recently melted our hearts when she started signing "I love you" back to us! As you can probably tell I could go on and on...but I'll shut up now so you can get on to the pictures...enjoy :0)

The one of her in your boots is my favorite! She has such bright eyes. I wish I could hear everything she's saying.
