Update: Month Ten

I don't even know how to start these updates anymore, because all that ever comes to mind is WOW!, another month has gone by already?!?! Well, a lot of people were betting that Kate would walk at nine months, and now it is official, month nine has come and gone and she is not walking....but she's close. She has been standing on her own quite a bit and has been walking around the house behind all sorts of things...boxes, the kitchen stools, laundry baskets, and this little walker/car thingy.
Kate has a very social personality and catches the attention of complete strangers where ever we go. A few weekends ago while we were out to breakfast and Kate was entertaining the whole place, a lady came over and said, "Boy, you're really going to have to do something about her shyness!" Yeah, we're working on it :0)
She also enjoys clapping, waving, giving high fives, pretending to answer the phone when ever anything rings, and fake sneezing after you do.
Standing tall in her football sweats...which are now capris, so they were retired after this weekend.

Being held captive because mom needed to take a shower. I usually put her in her crib but she hates that so we tried something different, and she hated it just as much. I pretty much can only shower if she's asleep, unless Marc is home of course.

This is her new thing...unloading any drawer she can reach.

When I blocked the bathroom drawer so she couldn't get in it anymore she just found a new one. I caught her in the action here. She really gets into it, whipping those towels around. (This drawer is now blocked too.)

Playing with Mabel. This seemed like a fun game until Kate got herself stuck under the chair.

After an exhausting game of whatever that was in the previous picture, these girls were ready for a bath.
