Update: Month Five

Here we are at five months!!! Kate is moving around (by way of rolling) a lot more and is just about sitting up on her own. She went through a phase where she realized that she could scream and did so constantly. It was cute for about a day...lasted about a week...and is thankfully over now! She is still drooling a ton and I think she is actually teething now...we've been joking about it for months, but now I can see two little white spots on her bottom gum. Kate has taken a real interest in Indy and reaches for him whenever he comes near. Indy was fine with this until Kate grabbed his ear and pulled and so now he stays out of her reach...he's no dummy. I'm sure I'm missing something exciting, but as I write this Kate is trying to get my attention so on to the pictures...
Having fun on her play mat!...and drooling, see it rolling off her chin?

With Dad dipping her toes in the pool in the backyard. I haven't dared to put her in it because it is so cold.

Trying out a new position in the bumbo...we no longer keep it on the table.

The bumbo is awesome when I am out front watering and need to put her down for a minute.

Hanging out on mom and dad's bed after just waking up.

In the stroller without the car seat. She loves facing forward and being able to see what's going on instead of having to stare at me the whole walk.

More fun on the play mat with her favorite toy...and more drool.

Killing two birds with one stone...reading in the bathtub! I thought we had outgrown this tub, but it still works perfectly. I think once she sits up we'll move to the kitchen sink.

YUM!
