In honor of my first mother's day and in the spirit of taking more pictures of her with us, I made sure that we got a picture of me and Kate. It took us the WHOLE day, but we finally got one on our walk at the dog park. It's been almost two months now, but I still can't believe that I am really a mom! It is so amazing to see our baby grow and learn new things each day...like how she went from smiling occasionally to smiling EVERY time she sees me (and her dad)! It is such an awesome feeling! I am truly blessed to have such a beautiful little girl!
I remember making my mom crafts at school for mother's day...usually involving LOTS of glue and shells...she still has some of that stuff today! Not too long from now I hope to receive those same glue covered crafts from my daughter...and I will of course pack them away to show her when she is grown just like my mom did for me :0)
I know I'm a day late, but Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's I know and love out there...especially mine!
