Deep in thought

This is Kate looking very serious and grown up. Typically after I feed her she falls asleep, but about twice a day, once in the morning and then again in the afternoon she is very alert after eating. She will just look around like this for hours....well maybe not that long, but for quite a while. She'll stare at the ceiling fan and we can read a book, it's really fun. The problem is that then she gets tired but fights going to sleep and gets fussy, and this cute picture turns ugly quick.
