Boots

You might remember the last time that I showed Kate wearing these boots... I thought she was such a big girl then, look at her now!!
On a side note, we just got this polka dot onesie like the one Hannah and Mabel both have. I wish the three girls could get together for a group photo in them! :0) We miss you girls!

Plum jam

The last time I was at work, a lady that I work with brought in a ton of plums from her backyard, and they were delicious! So, at the end of the shift when there were still a bunch left I offered to take them home...to make jam...like I have time for that! I googled plum jam and got this (7 1/2 cups sugar?!), this (is that even a recipe?), this (funny!), and this (the recipe I finally ended up using). My mom and her friend Carol were also busy looking for a recipe I could use...thank you both :0)
Making the jam was easier than finding a recipe, and Kate was very cooperative and napped while I was making it this morning! The recipe I ended up using only called for a cup of honey or sugar so it isn't sticky sweet, and I just had some on an English muffin and it is delicious, if I do say so myself! If you have any plums just lying around I highly recommend making some!

Catching up

Last time we took a picture of these two head to head was back in March...see here.

Kate is definately catching up to Mabel....not looking nearly as small as she did in those other pictures! In fact in one of those pictures she is wearing the same outfit that she is wearing here, and the sleeves are rolled up and it is really baggy on her. Not so much anymore....we're almost looking at capri's here and definately no need to roll the sleeves. Just in case you were wondering, we are just about out of the newborn stuff and are moving on to 0-3 months....I can not believe how fast she is growing!

Our pack

Here's the Joder pack...Cesar would be proud. I'm talking about Cesar Milan the Dog Whisperer...not Julius. Marc and I were introduced to Cesar by Marc's dad shortly before we got Indy and have been reading his books and watching his show for instruction for a while now. He talks a lot about energy (that we as humans give off) and dogs being pack animals and needing a leader. So, we try to lead him the best we can, and we are all a pack. Indy still has some annoying habits that we are working on, but overall he is a great dog, so we think Cesar rocks!
You can check out Cesar here.
