Can you believe that in two short months Kate will be 2?! OK, so I may be jumping the gun by mentioning it now, but I think I need these next two months to really process that! How can it be?! Anyway, much more on that in March...when it actually happens...
This month Kate built on her letter skills, learning what each of them "says". So now she not only walks around pointing out letters (correctly), but then she will also tell you the sound that said letter makes! She is also into counting, and can count to ten, at which point she gives herself a round of applause for a job well done! When she's not trying to get a head start on college, she's playing with her dolls, which are by far her favorite things to play with. She rocks them, rides them around in the stroller, and wraps them in beeshies (blankies) all the while telling them "it's otay (ok) baby!" She is so sweet to them...then I'll walk into the room and she'll look at me and just yell, "NO!" I try not to take it personally, and I nicely let her know that that is not "otay!" :0)
Getting every last drop of her "yum, yum, yum, disioso!" fruit smoothie. Yes, she really says that! They say it on Dora...well, they actually say "delicioso", and I may have prompted her a couple (hundred) times to repeat it! :0)
Hanging out in the Seattle airport on our way to grandma and grandpa's house. I still can't believe what a good girl she was that day!!
After dad pushed Kate around the house on her new sled, she let him have a turn and she pushed him! What a strong girl!
